Anno 1900 – Steampunk Convention Luxembourg 2015

PROGRAM

On a unique and wonderfull location, fully steampunk with two historical steam trains, musical entertainment, victorian market, quality food and drinks, civilized and elegant people.
The 5th edition of the Anno 1900 – Steampunk Convention Luxembourg wil be again organized at the Fond-de-Gras, an important mining site (iron ore) (circa 1870 - 1960).

HOW TO COME

- By car
The nearest city is Niederkorn. (https://www.google.de/…/Fond-de-G…/@49.5439246,5.8587169,14z).
A Park & Ride wil be available during all the weekend for visitors. Fee : 5,00 € per car for the two days (Saturday and Sunday).

- By Train 1900
The Train 1900 is driving between Fond-de-Gras and Pétange.
Departures from the city of Pétange, just behind the station of Luxembourgish Railway (CFL). (https://www.google.com/…/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x1e5525165fb5…).
Adult : 10,00 €, child : 6,00 € (ticket for the all day).

HISTORICAL TRAINS AT FOND-DE-GRAS

- Train 1900 (http://www.train1900.lu/)
Streamtrain driving between Fond-de-Gras and Pétange, travel duration : 25 min one way.
Adult : 10,00 €, child : 6,00 € (ticket valide all day long).

- Mining train « Minièresbunn » (http://www.minieresbunn.lu/)
Mining train driving between Fond-de-Gras and Lasauvage, travel duration for the round-trip : 1h30, with a short stop in Lasauvage and a visit inside the mine.
Adult : 5,5 €, child : 4,00 €

- On Saturday 26th
Departures from Fond-de-Gras : 10h30, 13h30, 15h10, 17h30.
Departures from Pétange : 11h00, 14h15, 16h15, 18h15.

- On Sunday 27th
Departures from Fond-de-Gras : 10h30, 12h55, 13h30, 14h40, 15h30, 16h40, 17h30, 18h40.
Departures from Pétange : 11h00, 13h27, 14h15, 15h25, 16h15, 17h25, 18h15.

TIMETABLE OF THE MINING TRAIN

- On saturday 26th
Departures from Fond-de-Gras : 14h00, 15h00, 16h00.
On Saturday the 26th, the minig train will be FREE according to his 25th anniversary !

- On sunday 27th 
Departures from Fond-de-Gras : 14h00, then every 30 minutes.

STEAMPUNK LOTTERY FOR A GOOD CAUSE

For the first time, during the Anno 1900 - Steampunk Convention Luxembourg, you can participate to a steampunk lottery. Thanks to the generosity of Thomas Wenzel (Steampunkies Warenhaus: http://www.steampunkies-warenhaus.de/) and Bernd Schnurr (Steampire: https://www.facebook.com/steampire?ref=ts&fref=ts), you can win steampunk jewellery and a steampunk bass guitar. 
All the benefits will go to "The 2015 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride" (http://www.gentlemansride.com), a worldwide event for motorcyclists. The goal is to raise awareness and money for the research of prostate cancer.

MUSICAL & ENTERTAINMENT PERFORMANCE

We will have live music and entertainment performance during all the weekend.
Saturday from 18h00 to 19h00 : live concert of french band Victor Sierra
Sunday from 17h00 18h00 : live concert of luxembourgish band ShadoWhispers.
